The development of reading is one of the most fundamental things that we work on in the Junior School at Dulwich College. Being a fluent reader who is able to read and understand a range of texts is one of the most important skills that we teach.
Last week I talked a little bit about the challenge of making transitions, and shared a few tips that could help you help your children handle changes. This week I’d like to focus on motivation as an important tool to achieving success. ‘Motivation’ in its essence is the drive or desire we have to achieve something.

Dulwich College Suzhou is now a candidate school for accreditation with the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
Here at the College, we are always looking to improve the service which we offer our children, parents and school community. To this end, we have approached The Council of International Schools to begin their Accreditation Process, acceptance of which is dependant on an initial Preliminary Visit, which will be taking place from March 9th to March 12th.
